This year we hosted the family Thanksgiving at our house. We have a pretty small house, so having 12 adults and 6 kids was a a lot, but we made it work. I cleared out the kids playroom, which technically is our dining room and set up tables in there.
I did simple disposable off white tablecloths and the runner is paper that was used as packing paper in an order. I made flower arrangements with fall colored flowers, and placed twigs and wheat to give more of a harvest feel. A few pumpkins, pine cones and acorns finished off the table decor.
The napkin rings I made by cutting brown paper grocery bags to copy paper size and printing the names I created on publisher on them.
To keep the kids entertained during the afternoon before we ate, I put together lots of arts and crafts and games. I even downloaded and cut out items to use as props to take pictures with.
Here is Aubrey trying out the photo props . . .
Hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving!
