My sweet baby girl turned 6 this past Sunday. Aubrey is obsessed with all things horses, so I did a horse themed parties.  I say parties because we had a party at our house with her friends on Saturday, and on her actual birthday we had the family over.  Our house isn’t big enough to have everyone over at the same time, and plus the grandparents appreciate not having to partake in the kids party. : )

I made a simple horse invitations in Publisher . . .

I kept the decorations the same for each party.

I went with a lavender and gold color scheme, I just couldn’t do anymore pink!

I bought horse tattoos and applied them to clear cups!

Found this fun digital download birthday sign on Etsy, that fit the purple and gold theme perfectly! Added the bows on the end just for the extra little touch. 🙂

For her friends party I just did a few snacks and a cupcakes.

Found these super cute cupcake toppers on Etsy

The kids painted horses, and I also had coloring pages for the kids to do while waiting for everyone to arrive.  We played pin the tail on the horse, and since we are having spring like weather in February the kids got to run outside and play with the chickens. aubrey3

Managed to get 12 kids to sit down and do the horse craft!

Goody bags for Aubrey’s friends to take home

For her family party I kept the lunch really simple with soup and bread.  I didn’t have a place for everyone to sit at a table, so I wanted the food to be easy to hold.  Also, soup is easy and budget friendly for a crowd.

My sister made this fun horse theme cake. I just went to tractor supply and got a plastic horse and ordered the banner off of Etsy.  Simple and cute!

We played pin the tail on the pony again with her cousins.aubrey9

Little miss Aubrey got some great presents from her friends and family.  She is one lucky lady!

Overall it was a fun birthday weekend, and I can’t believe my baby girl is now 6!
